ISRAELI ATTACK ON UN SCHOOL IN GAZA CLAIMS THIRTY LIVES

Hamas reported approximately 30 casualties in an Israeli attack on a United Nations-affiliated school in the Jabalia refugee camp in Northern Gaza. The Abu Hussein School, run by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), was sheltering displaced Palestinians escaping violence and intense bombardment in other areas of Gaza. The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed 27 fatalities from the strike. Additionally, Israeli forces targeted the Indonesian Hospital in Northern Gaza, focusing on the main entrance and power generators, while a residential home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza was also hit, resulting in at least 10 deaths. Israeli fighter jets struck the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in Khan Younis, killing at least five people and injuring dozens. In the occupied West Bank, a 12-year-old, Mohammed Ibrahim Fuad Edely, was shot and killed by Israeli forces, bringing the total Palestinians killed in the West Bank since October 7 to 229, including 52 children. The overall death toll in Gaza due to Israeli bombardments has exceeded 14,800 since October 7, according to Palestinian officials.
