Trump, in a sharp critique, labeled Kamala Harris as a “horrible negotiator” who “hates Israel,” further predicting that if she became president, Israel might not survive beyond two years.
In response, many feared that Harris might struggle against Trump’s aggressive stance. However, she was evidently well-prepared and effectively countered his attacks. Analysts noted that Harris managed to put Trump on the defensive, with University of Virginia politics professor Larry Sabato remarking that “Trump was terrible and Harris won hands down,” describing her performance as a form of retribution for Biden’s earlier debate loss.
Harris, according to Republican strategist Liam Donovan, executed her strategy flawlessly. She adeptly handled the moderator’s questions, delivered pointed criticisms of Trump, and provoked him into defensive and emotional reactions.
