CEASEFIRE ESTABLISHED IN GAZA: RELEASE OF PALESTINIAN PRISONERS AGREED UPON.

Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement mediated by Qatar, securing a four-day truce in Gaza and the release of 50 captives held in the enclave. As part of the deal, approximately 150 Palestinian women and children held in Israeli jails will also be freed. Prime Minister Netanyahu clarified that the agreement does not signify a halt to the conflict, emphasizing that the Israeli military will continue operations after the temporary pause in fighting. Despite the truce, Israeli bombardments persisted overnight in various areas of Gaza, including around the Indonesian Hospital and in Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave. The conflict in Gaza has resulted in more than 14,100 casualties since October 7.
