Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff Congratulates FIRS Chairman During Courtesy Visit
General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff in Nigeria, recently visited Dr. Zacch Adede, Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), as part of a leadership approach focused on fostering a professional Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) to collectively fulfill constitutional responsibilities. General Musa’s visit aimed to extend official congratulations to Chairman Adede for his appointment by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu. During the visit, General Musa emphasized the AFN’s commitment to ensuring national security and facilitating FIRS operations without hindrance, emphasizing the collaborative efforts to bring lasting peace to the country. In response, Chairman Adede praised the AFN as a disciplined service and crucial partner in taxation, expressing the FIRS’s reliance on the military’s support for unhindered duty performance.
