Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, recently engaged in a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. When questioned by State House Correspondents about the purpose of his visit and the discussions with the President, Fubara stated that it was a private visit.
“It’s a private visit,” he confirmed.
Notably, the last meeting between President Tinubu and Governor Fubara involved the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and other stakeholders from Rivers State. This meeting successfully resolved the political feud between Governor Fubara and his political mentor, Nyesom Wike.
During the recent private meeting, Governor Fubara briefed President Tinubu on the implementation of the previously reached agreement addressing the political crisis in Rivers State and sought the President’s support.
