President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Kemi Nanna Nandap as the incoming Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), effective March 1, 2024.
A statement from the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed that Nandap will succeed Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose tenure concludes on February 29, 2024.
Formerly serving as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate, Nandap is tasked with advancing ongoing reforms within the service. President Tinubu expects her leadership to establish a robust framework for efficient service delivery to Nigerians and to bolster national security through proactive border security and migration management measures.
