President Tinubu Appoints New Officials to Advance Education and Chieftaincy Matters

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.

Additionally, the President has sanctioned the appointment of Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Chieftaincy Matters.

Brigadier-General Ja’afar Isa served as the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996, while Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas holds the position of Sarkin Sudan Kano.

President Tinubu expects these newly appointed officials to leverage their wealth of experience to positively impact society, particularly in advancing his administration’s initiative to provide comprehensive education to Nigeria’s out-of-school children, thereby safeguarding the nation’s future interests.
