The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the rescheduling of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination for admission into Federal Unity Colleges and the Entrance Examination for Federal Government Academy, Suleja.
According to Azeez Sani, the spokesperson of NECO, the National Common Entrance Examination, initially set for April 20, 2024, has been postponed to June 1, 2024. Similarly, the Entrance Examination for Gifted and Talented Children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, initially scheduled for May 4, 2024, will now take place on May 25, 2024.
Sani attributed the decision to the low enrolment of candidates, prompting the need for rescheduling to accommodate more participants.
In light of these changes, Sani urged all concerned parties, including candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders, to make note of the new examination dates. He emphasized that registration of candidates will remain open until the new examination dates to ensure all eligible individuals have the opportunity to participate.
This adjustment aims to facilitate a fair and inclusive examination process, ensuring that all qualified candidates have the chance to demonstrate their abilities and secure admission into these prestigious educational institutions.
