The Director of Information and Communication at the Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr. Muhammad Hazat Sule, has emphasized the commitment of FCT Minister Barr. Nyesom Wike to the infrastructural development and transformation of Abuja, the Nation’s Capital.
During a visit to the Media Trust Group, publishers of Daily Trust Newspapers, and owners of Trust TV/Radio in Abuja, Sule expressed how the current FCT Minister has significantly impacted the infrastructural drive of the FCT Administration.
Sule, who visited Media Trust to congratulate Ahmed Ibrahim Shekarau on his appointment as the Acting GCEO of Media Trust Group, praised Wike’s appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a blessing to the 47-year-old territory. He highlighted the rapid infrastructural development, strict implementation of the Abuja Master plan, and revival of previously abandoned road projects under Wike’s administration.
The Director emphasized the focus on completing signature infrastructure projects that will significantly benefit FCT residents and urged Media Trust to support in projecting the activities of the FCT Administration under Wike’s leadership.
In response, Shekarau, the new Acting GCEO, commended Sule for promoting and projecting the image and activities of the FCT Administration. He expressed satisfaction with the quality of news reports from Abuja Digest Newspaper and Abuja Digest Online, highlighting the massive construction of roads and other infrastructural projects by Minister Wike.
Shekarau called for a strong partnership between Media Trust Group and the FCT Administration, emphasizing the importance of effective communication of government programs, projects, and policies to gain citizens’ support within the first four years of the Tinubu administration.
