Wizkid Announces European Tour Dates, Set to Return to the Stage After Nearly Three Years

Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Wizkid has officially announced his long-awaited European tour, marking his first major return to the stage in almost three years. The highly anticipated tour will take him to France, the Netherlands, and Germany, thrilling fans with electrifying performances.

Wizkid is set to headline the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin on May 21 before making his way to Rotterdam’s Ahoy RTM Stage on May 23. He will conclude the tour in grand style at Paris’s iconic Accor Arena, a 20,000-capacity venue, on May 25.

The tour comes in the wake of his sixth studio album, Morayo, which was released in November 2024. The album, widely celebrated by fans and critics alike, features an impressive lineup of guest appearances, including Afrobeats sensation Asake, French star Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and renowned American R&B artists Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.

This new tour marks a significant milestone in Wizkid’s career as he brings his latest hits to European audiences, reigniting the energy and excitement that have defined his global dominance. The announcement follows his surprise live performances during the 2024 Detty December festive season, where he treated fans to tracks from his latest albums.

As anticipation builds, fans are eager to witness Wizkid back on stage, especially after his history-making run of selling out London’s O2 Arena for three consecutive nights. His return to touring cements his position as one of the greatest Nigerian artists of the 21st century.

In addition to preparing for his European tour, Wizkid is also eyeing another career milestone at the upcoming 67th Grammy Awards. He is nominated for Best African Music Performance for his contribution to Asake’s MMS, raising hopes that he could secure his second Grammy win.

With new music, major performances, and another Grammy nomination, 2025 is shaping up to be another landmark year for Wizkid. Fans across Europe are set to witness the magic of his live performances once again.
