THE CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA (CBN) HAS INCREASED THE EXCHANGE RATE FOR THE CLEARANCE OF CARGO.

The Central Bank of Nigeria has elevated the exchange rate for cargo clearance, moving it from N783/$ to N952/$. This adjustment follows a recent increase from N757/$ to N783/$, and the updated rate is now visible on the Nigeria Customs Service portal. Notably, in November, the exchange rate for cargo clearance experienced a previous adjustment, rising from N757 per dollar to N783 per dollar, marking a 3.4 percent increase.
