President Tinubu Holds Key Diplomatic Meeting with UAE Leaders in Abu Dhabi

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Finance Wale Edun, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, engaged in a high-level meeting with senior officials of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi. The strategic talks marked a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between Nigeria and the UAE.

The UAE delegation was led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and included other prominent figures such as Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Also present were Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; and Salem Saeed Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Nigeria. The meeting is expected to further enhance cooperation between the two nations on various fronts, including diplomacy, finance, and security.
