Nigeria’s Excess Crude Account Reaches $473.7 Million, Reveals National Economic Council

The National Economic Council has announced that Nigeria’s Excess Crude Account has reached $473,734,570 as of October 31, 2024. This update was provided on Thursday by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum and Governor of Kwara State, following the 144th National Economic Council meeting.

In addition to the Excess Crude Account figure, Governor Abdulrazaq reported that the Natural Resources Account currently stands at ₦26,105,837,627.67, while the Stabilization Account is valued at ₦36,299,482,763.32. These figures reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to manage and allocate resources effectively in the face of economic challenges.
