Students in Nigerian tertiary institutions now have the chance to participate in a periodic nationwide test called Objectives VirtualTest, designed to foster learning and provide financial support as rewards. This innovative initiative will be hosted on the Mobile Classroom app, featuring various courses each month.
For August, the test will focus on students of Mass Communication, Political Science, Business/Public Administration, and Social Science Education. Regardless of their institution, level, or location, students studying these courses are encouraged to join the scheduled test on the app, which will determine the beneficiaries of the N4 million fund allocated for this month.
Renowned guest lecturers from higher institutions across Nigeria have been appointed to administer the tests for different categories. These lecturers have also established individual classes on the Mobile Classroom app, where they have uploaded lecture videos on various topics. The appointed lecturers for the August test include:
- Dr. Ayobami Elegunde, Department of Business Administration, Lagos State University (LASU)
- Dr. Wasiu Tejuoso, Department of Mass Communication, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY)
- Dr. Sheidu Kamoru, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG)
- Dr. Tokpo Coronation, Political Science Department, Federal University, Otuoke
The live test allows participants to join from their respective locations at the scheduled times. Students who fail to join at the start time will miss the opportunity to access the VirtualTest. The schedule for this month’s test is as follows:
- Mass Communication: Saturday, August 31, at 5:00 PM
- Political Science: Friday, August 30, at 5:30 PM
- Business Administration: Friday, August 30, at 6:30 PM
- Social Science Education: Friday, August 30, at 5:00 PM
To enhance their chances of winning, participants are required to subscribe and study the specified video materials from the guest lecturers’ classes on the Mobile Classroom app. This initiative, funded by Mobile Classroom Ltd., aims to stimulate learning and empower youth with innovative ideas and business plans that often remain unrealized due to lack of funds.
Akeem Salami, CEO of Mobile Classroom Ltd., invites partnerships and sponsorships from brands and corporate organizations for the monthly nationwide test. Nigerian students are advised to follow @_myclassapp on Twitter for regular updates and guidance on periodic VirtualTests and student support opportunities.
