Atiku alleges intimidation as EFCC raids his sons’ home
The media office of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has confirmed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday invaded the apartments of the two sons of the former Vice-President.
Paul Ibe, the head of the office said the apartments of Aliyu and Mustapha Atiku-Abubakar, at Maitama in Abuja were raided by the EFCC.
While speaking to newsmen, Ibe said the anti-graft agency did not find anything incriminating on them.
He said the act was carried out to intimidate the former Vice President whom the handlers of President Muhammadu Buhari perceived as “tormentor-in-chief.”
