APC mocks PDP, says it ate up Nigeria’s resources
2 January 2019 National
The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ate up the country’s resources in the 16 years it spent in power.
APC said the ruling party had recently launched a vicious campaign, ahead of the general elections, but noted that its roaring didn’t last.
Speaking at a news conference, in Abuja, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Lanre Issa-Onilu, also alleged that the PDP frustrated efforts of the ruling party to enhance the fortunes of Nigerians for the over three years it has governed so far.
He also alleged that the leaders of the PDP were now ashamed to identify with the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, hence the abrupt halt of its electioneering campaigns.
According to him, the PDP did a lot of damage to the determined efforts of the APC to restore the lost primacy of the nation
